What is Personalized Plan ?

A personalized plan for improving your chess skills is a plan that is specifically tailored to your needs and goals as a chess player. It typically includes a variety of components, such as: –>

  • Opening theory
  • Middlegame strategy
  • Visualization
  • Tactics
  • Endgame principles
  • Positional understanding
  • Analyzing games
  • Personal advice
  • Additional homework

Opening theory

You and Coach Eleyah will work together to develop a strong and flexible opening repertoire that suits your style of play.

By studying opening theory, players can learn about the different types of openings and the ideas and principles behind them. They can also learn about common traps and pitfalls to avoid, as well as the most effective responses to different opening moves made by their opponents.

Middlegame strategy

I focus on developing middlegame strategy by providing tricks and tips and enhancing basic understanding through the process of thinking.

In the middlegame, players need to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their position and their opponent’s position and create a plan accordingly. This involves analyzing the pawn structure, identifying weak points, and looking for ways to create strong attacking chances.

Visualisation

Visualization can be a powerful tool for improving your chess game. By training your brain to visualize the board, the pieces, and possible moves, you can enhance your strategic thinking, decision-making, and overall performance on the chessboard.

White on the move
Sacrificing the knight for opening the queenside
Improving the queen to hold important squares
Unstoppable checkmate is coming

Tactics

By studying tactics and practicing them in games, a player can improve their ability to spot and execute tactical moves. This can help them to create opportunities to win material, gain positional advantages, and even checkmate their opponents.

In addition to improving gameplay, studying tactics can also help a player develop their strategic thinking abilities. By considering different tactical possibilities and analyzing the potential outcomes of different moves, a player can become better at evaluating positions and making informed decisions about their gameplay.

On the left side, you can see the example about tactics, how to spot them, and how to realize them.

After doing 100 of these tactics which I will provide you as homework and during the lesson, you will be able to spot these kinds of tactics within 5 seconds

Endgames

Endgames are a crucial part of chess, and working on them can greatly improve a player’s overall gameplay. In an endgame, there are typically fewer pieces on the board, which means that each move carries more weight and can have a greater impact on the outcome of the game. This makes it especially important for players to have strong endgame skills.

Studying endgames can also help players develop a deeper understanding of chess strategy and tactics. By analyzing endgame positions and learning common endgame patterns and techniques, players can become better at evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of different positions, and making more informed decisions about their gameplay.

Positional Understanding

Positional understanding is a crucial feature of chess and it is important for players to work on developing this aspect of their gameplay. Positional understanding refers to a player’s ability to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a given position and to make moves that are in line with the overall strategic goals of the game.

By studying and practicing positional play, players can develop a deeper understanding of the game’s basic principles, such as controlling the center of the board, developing pieces effectively, and creating strong pawn structures. They can also learn how to evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of different pieces and how to use these assessments to create favorable positions on the board.

Weekly analyzing games

One of the more thing that I am doing for my students is analyzing the games. Suggesting what you should change in the middlegame If there is a better way to develop in the opening, showing missed tactics in the game, finding the best solutions how to make good plans in the position, etc.

Homework

Homework is one of the important parts to make an improvement, homework is connecting lesson to lesson. I give you after every lesson homework based on the lecture topic from the lesson.
